Congratulations. Good choice.
Side note: I will be going to Ann Arbor in 3 days. Hope the Huskers destroy the Wolverines.

DakotaThyme, Do you have any video of NXN Heartland? It would be appreciated if you can provide. I was unable to attend.

Saw this on another board and thought it might be more appropriate here. I've added in some rumors I've heard in red:
Anyone know where any of the following group of runners are going in 2012? I’ve heard that some runners have started making commitments for 2012. It seems that this is a good year for seniors on the boys side of things.
Kip Kinsley, Yankton - USD and SDSU
Ethan Tabbert, Roosevelt - USF Dylan Slaba, Roosevelt - SDSU
Conner Branick, O’Gorman
Eric Sanders, RC Central
Derek Swanson, Brandon Valley Austin Hogie, Brandon Valley Ben Schultz, Brandon Valley - SDSU, NDSU, USF
Hunter Sprague, Sturgis Luke Larson, Sturgis
Keegan Carda, Washington - Augie Alex Waddell, Washington - Minnesota, Iowa State, SDSU, USD
Tyler Propst, Pierre
Gage Blashke, Lincoln - Northwestern, IA & Mount Marty
Dysan Lends His Horse, CEB Tracey Slides Off, CEB
Jalen Snaza, Milbank

Any word on Waddell yet?
He stated in the flotrack interview that he wanted to go sub 1:50 this season. I don't know if he'll get that, but I still think he has a lot of potential on down the road.

I heard Chris Neison of Madison committed to run at USD. He is in amazing shape and ready for a monster year. He could go 47 high this year in the 400.

47 high?
Doubtful. Seriously.
Be cool to see, but not likely.

47 high would have to have a minimum under-distance speed of 21.5 (FAT), assuming he would have the world-class speed-endurance to go just 1.5 seconds slower and go 23.0/24.5.
not taking anything away from the kid, but 47 probably isn't realistic.
